Terms of Service
Effective October 1, 2026
Who we are
Beamy is made by TheBeamy, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Beamy is an app for iPhone and Android where you drop notes, voice notes, photos, files and links, and it keeps them, reminds you, finds them and drafts what's next. By using Beamy, you agree to these terms.
Beamy is in early access
Beamy is new and opening to people gradually from a waitlist, so features may change and the service may sometimes be unavailable. Beamy is free during early access. If we ever add pricing, we'll tell you in the app before anything is charged.
Who can use Beamy
You need to be at least 18 years old to use Beamy, and you agree to use it only in ways that are legal.
Your account
Your account is tied to your phone number. Keep it to yourself and don't let others sign in as you. You're responsible for what happens on your account. If you lose your number, tell us at support@thebeamy.com.
Your content
What you drop on Beamy is yours. You give us the permission we need to store, process and work with your content to run Beamy for you. That permission ends when you delete your content or your account, except for copies in backups until they're erased. Only drop content you have the right to.
Acceptable use
Please don't use Beamy to:
- break the law, or store content you don't have the right to;
- harass, threaten or harm anyone;
- interfere with, overload or break into our systems;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell Beamy.
AI can be wrong
Beamy uses AI to write down, read, summarize and draft, and it can make mistakes. Check anything important before you rely on it. Beamy doesn't give legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
Ending your account
You can delete your account any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
Beamy is provided "as is", without warranties, as far as the law allows. As far as the law allows, TheBeamy, Inc. isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost content, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the last 12 months or 100 US dollars.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Delaware.
Changes
If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change matters to you, we'll also tell you in the app. Using Beamy after that means you accept the new terms.
